Willow
Willow is an aspiring Outdoor Education Specialist and is currently pursuing a diploma in Outdoor Recreation Management and a bachelor’s degree in Environment and Society.. She has been fostering curiosity and connection for the children in her communities for the past seven years and finds great joy in slowing down, noticing the small details of the land, and helping children feel safe and confident as they explore, play, and learn outdoors.
She is especially passionate about creating a sense of belonging — for both children and families — and nurturing respectful, caring relationships with the forest. She values child-led exploration and believes some of the most meaningful learning happens through shared discovery and imagination.
Some of Willow’s favourite moments are the quiet ones: watching a child's confidence blossom, listening to stories sparked by the land, or seeing the forest become a comfortable and sought after space. In her free time, you will find her beside a river or on the side of a mountain playing fetch with her dogs and laughing with friends.
