Hi, I’m Breta, and I’m excited to be joining this year’s Spring Break Camp! I grew up on a farm in Manitoba, where I spent much of my childhood outdoors, exploring and creating. With 17 years of experience as a nanny, I’ve found that my two greatest passions are childcare and nature—so combining them feels like the perfect fit! I believe in the transformative power of nature to inspire and engage children, fostering independence, teamwork, and respect for the world around them.

In my free time, you’ll find me playing with my adorable and energetic dog, Lola. We love walking around the neighborhood or running through the forest together. Lola is a wild soul who shares my love for the outdoors, and we’re often out exploring new trails and making memories!

One of my hobbies is nature photography—I love capturing the wonders and beauty of the world around me. And of course, I have an extensive collection of photos of Lola, with well over 1,000 snapshots of her in action!
